No screan window with 4K Hi, Since shortly i have 4K movies on my drive and i dont know why but i get only sound, no screen. All other formats are ok to play. I tryed to set some configs and removed and reinstall codecs but no one of all the answerds i found couldn help me on this one. I Googled the problem and i couldn find similar problems. The same movies are 100% working on all other players i have and my computer is powerfull enough to handle them... Anyone who can help me out on this one? Thx! |
Update the player to the latest version. When asked, install only LAV filters, AC3Filter. All other codecs are rarely or never used. Play such a file. Verify filters in use Options -> Filters. Both of the codecs above should show up. If no video, try switching video rendering method from Options -> preferences -> video -> video rendering method. No problems here in playing such files (besides a too slow CPU) |
Latest version is ok. Just uninstalled and installed again and set only those 2 codecs but still the same. Just try al the possible settings in rendering but nothing helps. In the menu i dont even got video settings...http://users.telenet.be/mic.s_place/bsp.jpg |

There is nothing uncommon, as the video stream it's not detected, there are no video settings. Can you point me to such a file (here or via PM) ? |
