invalid encoding detected
 

With the new release of Bsplayer for Android I'am unable to see the subtitles (.srt), the message I get is: "invalid encoding detected".
It was Ok in the previous versions.

Anyone has got this problem ?

Unfortunatelly I have the same problem.. subtitles cannot be displayed and 'invalid encoding...' message appears instead of them.

hi i have the same problem. it says invalid encoding detecting. what can i do??

New auto detect encoding is used. If it fails, like the case above, go to Preferences>Subtitles> Subtitle encoding and manually select proper encoding.

We will fix this in next build.

No encoding, among the VERY long list of codings presented, seems to work.
Auto detection is apparently ineffective......

A quick fix would be most welcome!
