Nexus 10 hdmi So on the nexus 10 currently the only app that will display full screen through hdmi is the Google movies app... I was wondering if you guys could figure out what they do in that app and reproduce it in yours... Not even the basic UI is full screen through hdmi... Only when watching a Google movie |
Never mind... MXplayer figured it out and will have something in their next update |
Any link to the source? |
The Google play movies app is closed source... And I have no links to Mxplayer source... I emailed them awhile back and they had me take pics of what the Google movies app looks like during hdmi and what it looks like using mxplayer player... They told me they figured it out and it will be in the next major update Basically the nexus 10 directly mirrors it's 16x10 screen to the tv so you get black bars on the side... The google play movies app puts it in "hdmi mode" and so the movie doesn't play on the tablet... And it puts out a 16:9 image to the tv... You still have controls on the tablet but the video is only on the tv BSplayer is by far my favorite media player but I will have to switch players if they actually implement this feature |
Any update on this? |
