m4a support

I am no fan of iTunes or the store, but sometimes they release exclusive material. Is this format not supported in Bsplayer (Android)?

BSPlayer (Android) supports almost everything.
It works for me with this trick:
a) rename your mediafile: add the extension .mkv to your media file!
example:
filename.m4a ->
filename.m4a.mkv
b) short tab filename.m4a.mkv and Open with BSPlayer
or long tab filename.m4a.mkv and Open As Video (or Audio) and Open with BSPlayer
This trick works for me! :smile
Edit: I do not have .m4a from iTunes, though.
If it also works with your iTunes .m4a, please, let me know.

Note:
BSPLayer Android does not yet support the filename.chf chapters of BSplayer Windows! :mad
Feature request is pending!

Simply adding .m4a extension in Preferences should work also. Feature request confirmed.

I added the .m4a extension as "m4a" in the preferences and now I can play my itunes songs. But I don't see any covers? What's going wrong there or is bsplayer not capable of showing the covers of m4a files?
Best regards
Siggi
