Where are PREFERENCES ???
 

I downloaded BSplayer for my son's cell phone.

Mind you I never use android so I don't know anything about the platform...

Should be very funny to you guys but I can NOT ftw find the preferences (or "options")...

There is no options link or button anywhere when you open the app, but also when playing a video, I cannot find any access to any options or preferences at all...

All I see at the top is a refresh button, a camera button (???), and a "lock" button (to lock the screen).

I need to be able to switch from HW to SW decoder, but after an hour of trying to find it I truly give up...

So I'm hoping down here I can at least get some information...

Menu button of the phone ?

The menu button of the phone takes me to the menu of the phone...

The app itself is then brought to the background.

No, according to the BSplayer manual there should be three dots at the top right when playing a video, but I do not have that button.

What the h**ll am I doing wrong ? Something isn't right with the app I downloaded I'm beginning to suspect...

Anyone had this issue ? I can't be the only one...
If I cannot adjust any settings at all, this app is virtually useless.

Nevermind...

I'll just go and search for another app then...
Wouldn't have thought this would be so difficult for users that actually "know" the app...

I have the same problem - no access to the Preferences menu. >>Although - one time - it came up but I don't know what I did that caused it!!!

Pause the video file, in top right corner you have the tree vertical dots, same as the phone button.
