Black Screen
 

I am trying to play movies this wonderful player with no success: sound is fine, subtitles 2 but no video :cry:

Since ive found this player the best on net (subtitles and not a memory sucker) id like to put it to work. Could anyone help me, plz ?

Btw movies play fine with MicroDVD player...

have you tried to change overlay mode in the video preferences ?

Sorry, i forgot to mention: first ive got the message: "overlay failed" then...black screen...can it be my video card ? Matrox MGA G100 AGP ?

I had the same problem using tvtool. Try to set the refresh rate of your main monitor to 85 Hz in Desktop properties. That solved my problem with bsplayer and tvtool and the black screen on tv. :lol:

Strange, now ive got a different msg: cant create directdraw surface...any help ? :cry:

Try desinstall FFDShow and play the DIVX file with de DIVX codec or Xvid files with Xvid Codec.
