One character in subtitles is not displayed anymore Since the version 086 b 493, the russian character "??" (char #254) is not displayed in subtitles. Instead, square blocks appear in the end of the phrase, where this character has to be. Version 086 b 494 has the same problem. Now I use version 085 b 490, which displays all correct. Please, fix it if it is a bug, or tell me what to do to set it up. |
Same problem here with turkish character "ş" (lowercase, #254, OS:Win98). All other turkish characters (including uppercase of the one with problem) appear correct. Divx subtitle displayer shows them all correctly, but I hate to use it. -timur. |
Here is a workaround: Well, the problem is probably with SubRip file interpreter. I have converted the subtitles to MicroDVD format and the character displays fine. -timur. |
This is surely a solution, but I don't like MicroDVD format. I used to edit subtitles in ssa format, and then convert in srt. Moreover, it is obviously a bug, so I'll be waiting developers fix it :? |
