Skins authors and BST please read this

*EDIT* This bug has been fixed in the latest nightly build 500 (dated july 5-6th).
___
I got problem with skins when i use BSplayer with TvTool.
My problem is detaily explained here (please read):
http://www.tvtool.info/dcforum/DCForumID11/288.html

Why some skins works and some not when starting BSplayer via context menu with TVTool? TVTool author thinks that this is bug in BSplayer.

P.S. If needed I can also post BSplayer error code...[/i][/b]

I can't reproduce this.
But try this build, it's more multimonitor friendly.
If you still get error post error message.

Matroska and OGM should work too.
Only if there is more then one Audio stream you can't change it, but this is fixed in last build, redownload file.

For ex.
For Matroska file with Xvid video and two audio streams, one MP3 and one Ogg Vorbis, you should use something like this:

AddFilter C:\temp\MatroskaSplitter.ax,{149D2E01-C32E-4939-80F6-C07B81015A7A},Matroska Splitter
AddFilter C:\temp\OggDS.dll,{02391F44-2767-4E6A-A484-9B47B506F3A4},Vorbis Decoder
AddFilter C:\temp\xvid.ax,{64697678-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71},XviD MPEG-4 Video Decoder
AddFilter C:\temp\l3codecx.ax,{38BE3000-DBF4-11D0-860E-00A024CFEF6D},Fhg MPEG Layer3 decoder

OggDS.dll needs vorbis.dll. So you should put this dll where OggDS.dll is.

I have redownloaded the file....
in matroska files you are perfecly right ! But i still cant change audio stream . Im rightclicking the video and the popup window with the streams goes white and then closes ! The 1st stream works but i cant change it .

Later ... even if i install matroska etc ... i cant choose audio ! The window becomes white . So it has nothing to do with the filters registration etc ... !
Its some stupid bug im sure !!!!!!!

In ogm its not working in stanalone but its not important .

In order to help you as much as i can take a look of that foto :
http://utenti.lycos.it/woofer/bst.gif

The white window is the popup window and becomes like that when we have audio on matroska . (with/without matroska and other filters installed ). Even with one audiostream and all the filters intaled i have the same problem of the white window !

kitsaros2000 21st June 2003 11:32 PM

Incredible !!!!
If i rightclick the movie i have the effect shown on the foto
If i rightclick the movie when its fullscreened WOKS !!!
If i rightclick the player and press Other menu WORKS !!!!!
It has nothing to do with the filters ! :D :D :D

I will try new BSplayer build (and new TVTool build 7.2.5) and let you know...

EDIT:
Hm version from your link (499) don't start (I got error to old bsrendv.dll). Where can I get newer bsrendv.dll file?

mirkuma 25th June 2003 09:41 AM

OK, I have downloaded 498 and overwrite exe with build 499, BSplayer is working now, but my problem is still here...
Error code is the same as posted above, for versions 496, 497, 498 and latest 499...
BST any ideas?

P.S.: Some system specs:
Using GF4 Ti4200 with Philips SAA7104 TVout chip, Detonators 45.35, WinXP SP1, DirectX 9.0a...

mirkuma 1st July 2003 05:54 PM

Just find out it is not just my problem! It seems to be a common bug.
TVTool user "Yop83" has confirmed that he also have the same problem even with the latest 499 build...
See his tread at TVTool forum:
http://www.tvtool.info/dcforum/DCForumID11/288.html

Waiting on next BSplayer/TVTool build...

yop83 1st July 2003 11:40 PM
