Are you sure that the subtitle is not made like this ? Sometimes translators do that because it's easier, they don't have to write some things on the subtitle.

JTHawK#2 27th June 2003 09:21 PM

just go to options .. subtitles ... and try to decrease the value for

Maximum subtitle display time (msec)

"This is how long should be subtitles, that don't have defined end time, displayed."

adicoto 27th June 2003 09:25 PM

This value is by default 1500, so it is not ok if they are displayed longer.

Well, i dont have any problem so far... :?:

Mr. Death 28th June 2003 10:20 PM

I've got that problem too. The subtitles were correct and there were disappearing time, but they won't, I tried at least two good subtitles. Even changing manual disappering time didn't help.
I don't have any idea, how to correct this. I've got that problem only with 499, previous versions were OK.

adicoto 28th June 2003 10:46 PM

Sorry, I have already upgraded to ver 500. I don't have this problem. I don't recall to have this problem with build 499 either. But, if is ok with you, can you send me by email the subtitle file or post some lines with troubles here (4-5 lines ) ?

Mr. Death 28th June 2003 11:51 PM

For example these one:

{1165}{1278}BALTIMORE, MARYLAND, 1980.
{2867}{2963}Pomyslete si,|??e ka??d?? v???? den je va???*m posledn?*m.

The first line didn't disappear...

adicoto 1st July 2003 07:23 PM

Sorry for the delay.
First line must be displayed for about 5 sec, second about 4 sec.
have you tryied ver 500 ?
Is it ok ?

Mr. Death 1st July 2003 09:13 PM

Where may I download 500 version?
And this example was one of 3 or 4 movies. The same error on different versions of subtitles. It just didn't disappear, when it was supposed to do.

OK, I've find 500, Nightly version was was the right one. After I try it, I'll let you know... 8)

Same problem. Last useful version for me is 498.

I have tried several movies (with srt subs) and the subs always stay until the next line in the subs appears. This is pretty f**ked up when some sentences have a few minutes interval. I hope this can be fixed. i'm using a celeron700 with a geforce 2 32mb with tv-out. i've set the "maximum subtitle display tim" to 800ms but that doen't work.
BST i hope u can fix this

This should be fixed in latest nightly build.

dizz 20th July 2003 12:25 AM

That's right, it works now. Tanx!
