Second monitor and subtitles

I have default monitor and TV (PAL-G) on GeForce4 (Clone options). Subtitles are only playing on default monitor, but not on TV. When changed TV for default monitor went all wrong..screen was blank. I want to know if there is a catch or something with subtitles on second montor (Movie is playing, but not subtitles). THNX!

... exact the same problem with SECOND DISPLAY AND SUBTITLES

:? I just wanna confirm that I have the EXACT SAME problem,
just I have Geforce 2 MX 400 on Detonator 44.03,
so it seems to be the problem with NVidia ....

No problem here.
I use BSPlayer 0.86 Build 499, 26 June 2003.
I do have an Ati Mobile graphic card (Laptop).

When I have my laptop screen as primary
I see a black picture on my tv,
and the movie on my laptop.
Subtitles are shown on both TV and laptop.

My brother has a GeFroce MX 440 and it works ok on tv.
But he has an older version of BSPlayer.
He uses windows XP.
I use windows ME.

I downloaded the newest BSPLAYER build 499 to test it, but it is the same thing ...

I'm on WIN 2000 and installed NVdia Detonator 44.03. for my Geeforce 2 MX 400

WHAT'S THE VERSION OF BSPLAYER THAT YOUR BROTHER USES ??

Have you enabled on preferencies, subtitles, draw subtitles to overlay surface ? That is for TV out to display subtitles.

cjdijk 20th July 2003 08:27 PM

No I did not enable it.
After installing it for the first time,
I only had to make the TV primairy in clone-mode,
in the display properties, page NVidia.
Movie and subtitles are seen on tv from that moment,
and on the monitor, a black screen, only subtitles are visible then.
I did it all by my self, my brother is not very good with pc's.

I got now ati radeon 9200 and it works!

Jess_do_it 30th July 2003 05:20 PM

It's a problem with the nvidia drivers, and an old one at it.
