Default How do I know if DSP Plugins are loading?

I'm trying to get the DFX plugin working with BSPlayer. When I load a video file, the DFX configuration screen flashes for a bit then disappears. So I have no idea if it's really working or not. It *sounds* like it's working, but I just want to make sure. :) Thanks.

just right-click on the video window while playing a movie
the 4th item of the menu should be entitled 'DSP plugin' and the submenu tells you which plugin is loaded

Ah-ha. Yay. Thanks. It shows up.

So, I clicked it and nothing popped up. If I configure it from DFX's control panel in Winamp, would it have any affect on the current video file? Or would it only take affect after reloading a video file?

I have no idea...
I'm not used to DSP plugins (I don't use winamp)

Nevertheless, I think that if you change the settings in winamp, then open bsplayer's audio preferences and click 'load' for your DSP plugin, the plugin and its settings will be reloaded without having to stop your movie.

Do you use any plugins to enhance audio quality? I've been watching some really old stuff encoded in really bad audio and DFX improves the noise pretty well.

the only one I use on a regular basis is Enhancer
(link here http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic....light=enhancer) but it's only to boost the audio and I started using it only recently. [it has other features but I don't know if they would fit your needs]

could you give me a link to your DFX plugin ?

http://www.fxsound.com/

It costs some money to purchase it, though.
