can't play multiple languages in subtitle files I have some subtitle files (.srt) that have multiple languages. I can load them into BSplayer, and the English displays fine, but the other languages won't display. I tried clicking on the Subtitles| Language menu item, but it doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong? Is this even possible? |
:? regular text based subtitles can't have multiple languages in one file, can they ? the only kind of subtitle files I know that handle multiple languages are Vobsub subtitles (and they're not text based). Do you mean you have several files (something like one movie.fra.srt file and one movie.eng.srt file) ? in either case (Vobsub or multiple files), bsplayer doesn't handle the languages via its menu unless the languages were declared in the subtitles section of a bsi file and bsplayer is started with the bsi file. (look in the doc subdirectory of your bsplayer directory for details) without a bsi file, bsplayer can load only one subtitle file at a time |
