BSplayer crashes

BSplayer has been working fine but i just got a new movie and when i try to play it bsplayer crashes! The funny thing is i can watch it using divxplayer or virtualdub. I don't know if this helps but in virtualdub i got a msg "vbr audio stream detected" saying something about improper vbr audio encoding...

I have Windows Xp Professional, Pentium 4 2Ghz and 512 RAM
I've used GSpot and rendering was successful with video codec DiVX5.0 and audio codec MPEGLAYER3

If anyone can help i'd appreciate it.

This is caused by an VBR (variable bit rate) encoded file. Install an MP3 codec that can handle vbr (lame for example).
