I always had installed BSPlayer in its older versions till the release of this one and never had a problem. But since i installed ver 1.0, i can't play AVI files properly: just when i open an AVI movie, i get the message: "File is corrupted! Seeking will be very slow!" and then, the video plays well but not the audio, which doesn't play (all the volume settings are well configured). If i open the same file in Windows Media Classic, all works fine. The OGG container can be played without any problem, including those with multiple streams. Can anybody help me, please? |

Logical conclusion would be that AVI splitter filter isn't working properly in your cases. What OS do you use? AVI splitter comes with DirectX. Maybe your problems would be solved installing the latest version of DirectX...

I use Windows 2000 Pro SP6 and DirectX 9. Avi splitter should be properly working as i can see any other AVI films with Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic 6.4.6.8. Thank you anyway. Any other idea, please? I would really like to have BSPlayer work fine. |

Let's look at what I've done: I registered (installed) alternative AVI Splitter filter using regsvr32. It seemed that it's not even in use. The I unregistered it and I got the same error! Registered it again and there was no error. Unregistered - error occured again. Reinstalled DirectX - no error anymore. Reinstall DirectX!
