Italic expressions/frases on sub extensions subtitles [v1.0]

in the new BSPlayer version (1.00 RC1 Build 803) how can we put some frases in italic? In the older versions was {y:i} but now it just doesn't work! what's the trick on the new version? can anybody help pls?

oh, and... on subtitles with .srt extension we can just put some expressions in italic like "today im going to school" <- like this, the word "school" would be in italic, which, in the .sub extension subtitles would be impossible to do (I think?)
how can we just put a little expression in italic with .sub extension subtitles? does anybody know? tnkx in advance ;)
greets

Is still working the {y:i} thing. Be sure the font you have selected is a true-type.
Don't forget, {y:i}function works until it reaches an | function. After a | you must write again {y:i}
Here is a link you can find useful:

Unfortunately, there is no trick. It is a bug and you can do nothing. :(

That feature doesn't exist in .sub format. Use .srt. It's better and it will be supported by many divx players in the future.

adicoto: tnks for the page :) some neat tricks there hehe :)
HackerWerger: I hate .srt subtitles.. :P

but, I still can't use {y:i} on this new version :( dont know whats the problem cuz if u say that this feature remains possible in the new version, the problem's mine :(

if I use {y:i} on .sub extension subtitles it appears this on the movie: (see the link)

so... what do u advise? should I wait for a new version of BSPlayer? do u think that in the new version the {y:i} will work again? or should I use older BSPlayer versions? :( tnkx in advance everyone :D

and.. Merry Christmas :D

It ain't a bug:

Oh, yes.. It is defenitely a bug. The old semi-perfect 0.86 was (and IS -for my concern) able to handle all types of font and not only True-type.
I don't want to use true-type fonts cause I like the Arial font..
Every non true-type font is displayed as DaRk_SoU| said.

I hated them either. However, I saw that microdvd format isn't supported by the new divx stand-alone players. So, I said what the hell..

IS it a bug, but a strange one. If you have one subtitle with the same name as the video file, all is ok. But if you load an alternate subtitle, is all screwed up. I didn't realize that cause I allways put one file video and one subtitle together, using autoloading subtitle.
