cause of .srt-bug found hi, happy newyear if a srt-file contains more then 2 lines for 1 subtitle bsplayer will crash, for instance: 4 00:01:33,520 --> 00:01:36,360 Je hebt post. Wil je het hebben ? 5 00:01:40,800 --> 00:01:45,200 ... is no problem, but 4 00:01:33,520 --> 00:01:36,360 Je hebt post. Wil je het hebben ? 5 00:01:40,800 --> 00:01:45,200 ... wil crash bsplayer, because subtitle 4 contains 2 lines. WMP will play correctly in this situation. |
No such bug ! I'm afraid Bruce Willis this "bug" doesn't exist. BSPlayer can - without any problem - play upto 3-line subtitles (just tried to check with .srt and with .sub). Are you sure you're BSPlayer's native features to display subtitles or do you have VobSub or something similar installed? http://members.home.nl/van.raak/wink.gif (P.S. What version/build of BSPlayer are you using?) |
you're right, when disabling directVOBsub 2.23, everything is ok. :D using version 1.00 rc1 803 i was so proud finding this bug - too bad for me :) |
Never mind! It is good to have people involved! If you would not have posted it, you would not have found the real cause! Maybe there are also other users having the same troubles, but who do not bother to write about it. And now you can even more enjoy BSPlayer's features! http://members.home.nl/van.raak/wink.gif P.S.: Vanzelfsprekend nog de allerbeste wensen voor het nieuwe jaar!! |
