Default ASF Files :: Video, but no sound?

Hey guys.

I have tried playing every single ASF movie file I have on Windows Media Player 9, and also on the latest version of AviPreview. None of them worked, an error message would always appear informing me that it was unable to play the file.

When I try to play those same ASF files on BSPlayer, the video works fine, no error messages. Although the video works, there is absolutely no sound at all. I have tried playing MPG and AVI videos with BSPlayer, the sound and video both work fine on them.

The codec pack I have installed is the Kazaa Lite Codec Pack. Anyone know how I can fix this sound problem? Thanks!

Try to installldivx 3.11. It comes with an hacked audio codec. That might help you.

I found Divx 3.11, tried to install it, but it kept asking if I wanted to replace newer versions. I said no to this all 3 times.

This didn't help at all, anything else? Any codec packs I can install in place of the Kazaa Codec Pack?

Sorry, I forget to tell you that you should say yes to the question. It is asking about the file L3codeca.acm, wich is the Layer 3 decoder. Newer file is in fact a bad one. So, say yes with no problem.

The only thing that helped me in such a case is the wmtools.exe. You can download from here:
