BSplayer error! cant see my subtitles! please help!
 

what seems to be wrong here. ive spent so much tuiem teryign to sort this out.

after loading the avi file (divx) and thenj loading the subtitle file i get this error message and bs freezes and crashes:-

i also havnt been able to ge tthem to show in any othe rplayer including WMP 6.4

I ripped the subs with vobsub 2.08

they are in the same folder and with the same name as the film

i downloaded BSplayer thinkign that this woudl be the ansewer to my probs.


Directvobsub displays its logo in the task bar when i start up BS or WMP 6.4

i cant thinkl what the problem would be.

vobsub makes 2 subtitle files from the ifo of the film. i assuem the smaller file (6kb) is the idx file and the larger one 214kb the sub file (there is no suffix to these files in windows explorer - they are both called subtitle files.)
