Hm, to me bsplayer 490 and Ogg DSF 0995 +Subtit DSF 1400 work like a charme. Check Ogm file if you'd muxed it yourself, maybe corrupt. Try demux it in Graph edit or use tools provided here: http://cyrius.bunkus.org/
Appropiate codec for the video stream installed ?
