subtitles problem Only with bsplayer I have problems to see characters like these "??" "ˇ" (used in spanish subtitles) in subtitles (any format sub, txt, srt), I tried changing all referred to the font style but I could not find the solution. Anyone knows how fix this? |
Same problem I have the same problem. I search all the web but i didn't find anything. Can sombedy help with this problem? Regards. |
I think you didn't try to change the script: play a movie with subtitles right-click on the movie window to have the menu appear [so far I guess you already know that ;)] subtitles-->font at the bottom of the newly opened window, there should be a combobox named "script" default is "central europe", select "western" instead (or "occidental" or whatever the spanish translation for this is) This has worked for french users, sweden users etc and I've just tested it on spanish subs :P |
it Works!!! I test the configuration and it works! Thanks a lot. |
Thanks, I've been bored for monthes with that ! Thanks a lot, I didn't notice this option... It works fine ! |
Hi, I had the same problem and I did the same. But, now I can't select "western" for the script. The only possible choice is "latin" if the font is arial. If I select another font like tahoma, for example I can select some other scripts like greek, central europe,... but I can't find "western europe". I suppose there is a problem with the registry bur I can't find. I run under W98 and bsplayer 494. (I try with 493 too) Does anyone already had this problem ? |
