BSplayer does not start Hi all! I just downloaded BSplayer 0.85.488. Right after the installation it ran just perfectly, but when I wanted to start it a second time nothing happens, the control panel does not show. Opening the task window voa Crtl+Alt+Del, there is a BSplay running, however. Upon trying to terminate it, it stops responding, but I can still terminate it via End Task. So what's wrong? What am I missing? I am new to BSplayer, so please do not mind in case I am asking stupid questions. Anyone, help me out please! I am running an Athlon 500Mhz with Win98SE, DirectX 8.1 and DivX 5.02 installed. Thanks in advance! Regards, The_V1k1ng |
BSplayer does not start Hi all, I have Win98 SE + DirectX 8.1 installed on my computer. After installation of BSPlayer 0.85.492 I reached the same problem. Player was not correctly running, I saw neither user interface, nor program icon in task bar. It was only in Task List in Close Program Window (after pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del). :( After some investigation I found out: - all 0.84 releases (builds 460-843) played movies correctly (with subtitles). Last functioning version was 0.84.843 - all 0.85 releases (builds 844-892) had the same behavior - they were only in Task List I ran unreg.bat + CrearReg.exe several times but results was allways the same. I'm no expert, but I thing it's a filter problem, becuse without re/installation of any filter one BSPlayer version runs well while the other not (BTW with same filters other players work fine - ZoomPlayer, RadLight,...). I don't know if these two things can relate together, but I made one unsual thing - after installation of BSPlayer 0.85.492 and before its first run I removed BlindWrite Suite (I thing it was version 4.0.2) from my computer. Please, help me anybody with this problem, because for me is BSPlayer the best. Thank you very much for your answer in advise. |
Did you try on several movies? I don't see anything else than running the debug version and look at the c:\BSPlayer.log it creates (with notepad). |
You're right ! with the debug version it's Ok |
