Sample subtitle:

http://netzah.dotgeek.org/Hellboy.txt

subtitle name: Hellboy.txt
movie name: Hellboy.avi

It doesn't work even if subtitles are loaded manually.
Thanx

To BS Team

Hi,

There are problems with subtiles in new version also. This is fact that format mentioned below is now suported but subtitles are shown for one second or less. I can't configure that - there is no option.

And another problem with second format. BS don't show subtitles in this format.

Sample:

Any infos, any solutions???

Big Thanks

Mati

Hey.

Try Options -> subtitles -> maximum subtitle display time. It's set to 1000ms by default. I've changed it and it helped.

Ohh.... I have tested it 100 times and nothing.... all options

I had the same problem. At the moment what I do is:
- load both movie and sub in SubEditPlayer
- change the format of the subs
- save the subs
- play them in BSplayer

That works, but it is a little detour. :?

...............It is very easy to change an error in such a subtitle with even a simple application like notepad.

I would say textbased .srt (SubRip) subtitles represent the overwhelming majority in the Netherlands. Contrary to what you suggest, they are fully supported by BSPlayer.

Maybe for movies, but not for TV rips.
Serials which aren't yet shown in Holland, like Stargate Atlantis or The Dead Zone have only subs in .txt format.

Maybe later they're also available in srt format, but not from the beginning, unfortunately.
