Video/picture problem. . boo!! Hey all, I just downloaded BSplayer 1.0 I think. And. . subtitles.. work. . audio works. . but I get no picture. I get 4 yellow stripped lines going horizontally across my screen. . .and all I hear is the sound. . and I am reading the subtitles.. . but no picture to watch. . funny isnt it? :-P I have looked through these forums on others who have asked for help about this video problem. . .some of you have suggested to download codecs. . .and divx codecs. I have tried all that, but still, I do not see any picture. . .only subtitles and audio. Can someone find a way to help me figure out this? Thanks a bunch guys. ---> Ero Sennin |
Don't take the codecs problem so easily. So, what codecs do you have on the computer ? And something about your videocard, DirectX version and overlay mode selected in options->preferences->video->video render. |
I believe I have the divx 5.02 bundle, xvid, and I am not too sure about the names of the other codecs. But if you know them yourself and could list them.... I could point them out to you. BSplayer can play some movies but also, some movies it cant..as I have described the picture problem from above. For the Direct X stuff, it is up to date. |
What is the difference between overlay mode 1 and overlay mode 2? |
Some video cards play better in mode 1, some in 2, and some can't use overlay, just RGB. For more technical details search the forum for a post "Overlay what is it......." |
