VobSub + BSPlayer problem

I've installed latest XVID codec (1.0.2), since than I can't see subtitles with VobSub even I put in Configure (Always load). Btw, Media Player loads VobSub without a problem, so problem is with BSPlayer

Would there be a fix?

take a look here:

That will make VobSub load when needed.

(by "that" I mean not clicking on the link, but doing what they say there... -_-")

Hmmm

I get the same problem.
Using BSplayer, Vobsub never even starts.
If I use Windows Mediaplayer, or even Subtitle Workshop Vobsub works perfectly.

Trying to watch a movie like I've done many times before.

twc-bhd-divx-cd1.avi
twc-bhd-divx-cd1.srt
twc-bhd-divx-cd2.avi
twc-bhd-divx-cd2.srt

All these files are in the same directory.

Before I installed latest DivX codec this worked just fine.
I tried to make a bspfilters.dat in my C:\Program Files\BSPlayer\ directory.
However it didtn't work.

Any other things I can do?

Did the trick....

Putting this text in C:\Program Files\Bsplayer\bspfilters.dat

Quote:

[BSPlayer filter def file]

AddFilter {9852A670-F845-491B-9BE6-EBD841B8A613},DirectVobSub (auto-loading version)

Can you tell what options do you have in DivX configuration ?
I use:- Smooth playback
- disable logo
and VobSub (2.23) loads OK, even if is not set in bspfilters.dat

i just found out that bsp loads vobsub when playing xvid. wont load on divx video. so it could be divx problem...hmmmm...but wmp loads it on divx...double hmmm.....this SUX. you just can't have it all..

Maybe DIvX configurations can solve the problem. Try some changes. Or, uninstall DivX decoder and enable in Xvid configuration support for all supported formats.
