System crash when trying to play files with BS Player

Hello

I've been using BS Player for over a year now without any problems. I just bought new PC and had to reinstall everything. I downloaded newest BS (build 812) and installed all codecs (with and without codec packs).
But whenever I try playing files my entire PC freezes and I have to reboot. This doesn't happen with WMP and some other players. I can start BS Player without a movie and can get into options menu but whatever I do it's always the same thing. I tried uninstalling BS and codecs and reinstalling them but it doesn't help.
I'm using Intel 4 3.6GHz, Asus P5GD2 Premium, 1GB ram, Geforce 6600PCX 256mb.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Try to switch to overlay mode 2 in video options (in "video rendering" tab). If this does not help, try to install (or re-install) latest drivers for yor video card.
