Prevent applications from stealing focus Build 810: After starting and closing BSPlayer, the Windows setting "Prevent applications from stealing focus" is automatically enabled. This setting controls whether applications that want focus are given it or their taskbar buttons are flashed several times, but the focus is not give to their windows. This setting is controlled via registry or via system tweakers. In TweakUI it is accessed on the General tab. The default setting, I believe, is to allow applications to steal the focus. |
You believe is right - generaly, even if I hate it, everything tend to steal the focus... :? Using TweakUI to get rid of it anyway :) But yep, there could be a slight problem  Cngratulations to founding it :P |
Thanks. I hope this can be fixed, because in some cases it is needed to allow applications to steal focus. One of my examples is that Logitech iTouch software for multimedia keyboards can't launch new programs in foreground if "prevent..." is enabled. I tend not to run software that bombards me with annoying popups and applications like Miranda IM have their own settings to allow/disallow stealing focus. |
Will this bug be fixed in upcoming releases? I just tested 1.22 and the problem is still present. |
Yes, it is still there   |
