How force Enhancer to stay hidden? Whenever I start playing a video in BS player (v. 1.39/829 free), the Enhancer0.17 plug-in opens both the Enhancer main window and the Enhancer Presets window. How can I force it to start hidden? When I right-click and click Hide Enhancer it disappears, but after starting new video it is there again. |
Unfortunally you can't |
Strange, mine is hidden. |
I think, it must be some bug in v. 1.39/829. In v. 1.37/826 it stays hidden. |
I'll try this with the previous version :? |
Confirmed: Enhancer main window and Presets window opened (whereas in previous versions they stay hidden). |
Bug fixed in last version (v1.40.431) |
Sorry, bug still present in build 831. |
..strange.. but it could be possible since I didn't installed Enhancer this time.. all I have done was to copy the Enancer dll to the BSplayer plugin folder and tell to BSplayer to use that folder as Winamp plugins directory.. This way worked for me, so maybe can be useful to others.. If you can please try. |
@Tizio: is your enhancer working? Can you change its settings while playing a video? |

Try to unzip this files directly into BSplayer plugins dir (keep folders structure since there is an Enhancer\017\ folder in it) and tell me if it works.. (remember to check both the options in BSplayer's Winamp2 DSP preferences..) |
Tizio, thanks for your Enhancer but I already have it. As a matter of fact I actually tested with BSPlayer Pro and I didn't install Enhancer there, but just copied it from BSPlayer Free folder. And its screens do pop-up as soon as I start a video file. I havn't checked support advanced plugins though! (By the way: Enhancer creates the sub-folders itself!) Edit: meanwhile tested: no difference! |
...I'm sorry..I don't know how I was able to fix this on my pc... The "only" thing I did was to format few days ago ( :P ) What if you change this registry key like this?: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ioscasoft\Enhancer\Ver sion 017\ Window State=0 |
Window State already = 0  Anyhow bug not present using version 1.37! |
I have no more ideas at the moment.. It's really strange.. It seems the only solution is to format PCs  (...just joking...) |

I had to reformat since I wanted to reorganise my partitions and because in my dualboot system WindowsME part was really unstable due to my really often tests in programming. I hope to have not to reformat for a looooong time from now  I'll try to find a solution to this problem, since a solution MUST be there (otherwise the problem should be still here on my pc too), but I can't assure nothing.. (ehi, the Enhancer's author name is Adrian and he is from Romania... If I wasn't sure you adicoto are not a programmer (and if the surname had been the same) I had thought he was you  ) |
Yes, I know it's from Romania, but the project was abandoned long time ago AFAIK. |
Bug still present in build 832. |
Ok, maybe I solved the arcane! :D  Try to disable windows' skinning option in Skins section.. I'll add this to the bug section with the relative indications  (thank you for the tests you made after my suggestions :) ) |
