I have a custom program that displays thumbnails of some videos and when the user clicks on one of them it uses the Win32 API function ShellExecute to open that video file with the associated program. So it should be the same as double clicking on that video file in windows explorer, but with the last version of BSPlayer it doesn't open up. If I associate video files with another program it works, and also if i install an older version of BSPlayer and associate video files with it, but not with this one. Obviously I am not asking you to modify BSplayer to suit my program, but I believe that there must be many other programs that open video files that have stopped working with this version. |

Have you tried with English language in BSplayer? If the answer is no, try to change language to English and see if it works. It seems there is a problem in associations routine in last 2 releases given by the fact that the Open in BSplayer and Enqueue in BSplayer are now localized in BSplayer language. English (default) should work. Please try and tell

I tried that and it didn't work. Later I digged a bit into the Registry and I've seen that the BSPlayerFile.... classes don't have a "open" folder inside the "shell" folder. They have Enqueue, Play and Playbs. I added one manually and now it works.
