BSPLayer Error message

I am getting this message when I attempt to play select videos:

Why am I getting this message? I got this message from 3 versions of the player 1.36, 1.37, and 1.39.

.avi, .mkv, .ogm, .mpg, .mpeg, .vob, .wmv, .MP4, .asf ?
