Bugs in BSplayer v2.10.939 (Normal/Pro)

Here will be reported the BUGs related to BSplayer v2.10.939
__________________________________________________ __________

BUGS:
- After a clean install of BSplayer the equalizer balance settings are saved all to the left, so (by default) the audio will be outputted only to the left speakers (it's a problem if the user doesn't know how to restore the proper settings) (by Maceart)
- A redundant Play (the one to remove) key is saved into the Windows registry for every associated extension (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BSPlayerFile.xxx\shell\Play) since a Playbs (the one to keep) key is already present (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BSPlayerFile.xxx\shell\Playbs)

TRANSLATIONS:
- The language files are still the ones for v1.37 (this problem as already been reported several times when previous versions had been released)
- The Explorer shell menu item "Install skin" doesn't work properly when you use a BSplayer language different from Eglish. The "Install skin" item is translated, but the doubleclick function doesn't work. You can simply fix this bug by saving the translated "Install skin" string ONLY at this registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BSP.SkinZip\shell\install\
instead of saving it also to this one:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BSP.SkinZip\shell\

Part of the language file isn't working (subtitle editor menu for example).

The zone where messages are displayed is grey when the other part of the skin is blue (tested on ver1 skin and on the base one).

Capture device selection window is missing. Bug or feature (BSplayer detected that I have only one video capture device ?)

Just for my curiosity, nobody confirms, infirmes bugs. Nobody is posting bugs ? Could this release be so good ? Or there is nobody interested any more ? All Quiet on the Western Front ?

Audio delay still present, smaller but still there even if secondary input (from BSPlayer) is lower in volume.
TV channels still missing after installing newer version. I am tired of writing them anytime a new build is comming up.

The capture device settings section is now in Preferences window (CTRL+P -> Capture)

I have been really busy these days, so I was not able to test this build. I was able to only report the first few bugs.
Tomorrow I'll start the tests, I hope to find a good release and not a buggy one, but it seems that there are still some annoying bugs :?

Yes, missed that.

I can't confirm this bug (nor BSPeter), I tried with several skins but the problem is absent.
But even if I can't reproduce this bug, it seems that at least Onkyo and Mati86 have the same problem too
- BSPlayer can't play videos when screen is rotated (by jpnn80)
- There are problems with Cyberlink decoders (at least with audio decoders) and maybe with other MPEG2 decoders (by Onkyo)
- With DivX v6 decoder (if the Audio systray is enabled in DivX decoder settings), when changing movie the taskbar appears (by sagivlevi)
- Wrong Anamorphic window size (by J7N)
- Still some multiple instances problems (by animai)

Confirmed, and regarding the channels not remembered between different versions is very annoying.. (sorry adicoto if I didn't written the conversion utility, but probably it would had been too much difficult to handle so many changes in so many versions :? I would had to update my utility every month, for next releases I expect something new and more stable from BSplayer team members :P )

In next days/hours I'll test the player furter

their is also still another subtitles bug, the width margins option doesn't work.

see here http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7676

If a webcam counts as a capture device, then BSPlayer can't initialize and use my webcam, fresh install, drivers ok (all other programs can work with it).

The only solution I found is to stop using BSplayer Pro 2 and only use BSplayer 1.22, because I don't have any problem with the old version.

Confirmed by adicoto (original post here).

BSplayer Pro v2.10, build 939 cannot play mp3 files downloaded from MySpace nor those compressed with programs like Mp3Pro. Why is that? Am I missing something?

Winamp, WMP, VLC play them just fine.
