Does this crash come up at the start of the file or after a time ?
If the second one, can you tell us wich decoder is used for your MPEG2 file (open the file, rightclick on the window->options->filters) ?
Does this happen wit all MPEG2 files or just with ones bigger than 2 GB ?

If the counter doesn't stop then you must be able to find the filters used to play. Try it please.

Sorry for not responding, I am away (far) from my computer. In the past, BSPlayer did have some problems with CiberLink audio decoder. Maybe this build too. Can you trry to use an alternate decoder ? Such as Elecard or BitCtrl ?

You can still use the encoder (the one who really encodes the movie). You should only change the decoder, the filter that in fact decodes the stream and is used only to play the file, not to encode it.
