How to remove unwanted video codecs from windows

Need help for removing unwanted video codecs from windows. How to identify them and remove it?

I haven't BS.Player at hand at the moment.
You could however check possibilities offered by BS.Player's filter management.
(rightclick > Options > Preferences > Filter management > [Filter manager])
