HELP!!! DIV3????

hi can someone PLEASE help?? I burned a CD with a DivX movie on it. It played on my BSPlayer and then the next day when I tried, a box keeps popping up that says "Unknown file format (DIV3)." Does anyone know how to help? I tried it on a different computer and the movie works, but it now it won't play on ANYTHING on my computer. How can I fix this? There is nothing wrong with the movie either :( .

Only strange thing is that it played once and then never again. !!?? Odd.
DIV3 means the old DivX3.11alpha codec.
Download ffdshow from 3.1.2003 @ sourceforge (well, posted the link so many times here now, but still not by heart:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow).
Install, and run configure:under Codec tab tick associated check box to let ffdshow decode your DivX3 video.
And also don't forget to play around with all the multiple features ffdshow offers to improve visual quality when playing your movie. But remind increased CPU power consumption when doing so!!
