Crash at the end of the video under Vista BSPlayer crashed at the end of every AVIs I play. It seems it only happens when I play the video completely (with or without pauses). When I start the video and jump directly to the end, it doesn't happen. I used the the 2.28 before updating to 2.32. With 2.28, the crash was catched by the internal crash catcher. So it didn't really bothered me because I just had to click on "Close". With 2.32, the crash is not catched and I have to wait that Windows can process the crash. But it is longer : 5~6 seconds , so it is more unplaisant. How can I fix these crashes or, at least, reuse the crash catcher ? I'm using BS v. 2.32.975 on Vista SP1 32bits with DirectDraw rendering mode. |
Can you also provide us the rendering mode used and the filters BSplayer uses to decode the AVIs? Rendering mode: CTRL+P -> Video -> Video rendering -> Rendering mode Filters used: with movie playing -> right-click -> Options -> Filters -> Advanced |
Rendering mode : DirectDraw Filters: - default directsound device - EQ - Xvid decoder - MP3 decoder DMO - Avi Spliter Thx for your help |
BS.Player flv player Did you try EVR video renderer, it is the one most optimized for Vista? |
Re: BS.Player flv player Yes but the subtitles quality is very bad with this mode so I'm waiting for that to be improved and until then, the only good quality solution is directdraw mode. |
