Movie scrolling by slidebar no longer possible

I noticed that the movie would not scroll with latest version 2.43 when dragging inside the slidebar. That was possible with a previous version I used (2.30)

(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General > [General settings]:
uncheck/deselect last checkbox "Seek when mouse button is released"
