A "full screen / unpause" button

I know nothing of skinning so forgive me if this exists, but the ability to make a movie go full screen and continue playing with one click would be quite a neat feature to be able to assing to a button. If possible have it check so that if the movies already playing it just makes it go full screen.

Why don't you try ALT+ENTER?
It works great ;)

in SKIN.INI located in your SKIN folder (name of the skin) u have to add/change for ex.

[Position]
Btn1=X,X:23;Fullscreen

23 is the funktion for fullscreen, u also need buttons called Btn1d.bmp, Btn1n.bmp, Btn1u.bmp ... u can rename the bopen?.bmp

if u have a fullscreen skin u also have to change under [FullScreen]

Oh my God ! People, come on, you didn't know about the "F" key ? (from Fullscreen)
As for the other keys, go to Options->Preferences->Key Definitions & WinLIRC: just press the function and the key assigned to it will be displayed in the top right dialog box. You can assign your own keys there, as well.

Yes i knew about both of these options and if you will read my question, neither of them answer it. The entire point is that i want to be able to go from a paused window to fullscreen / playing in 1 click.

Deadmeat 2nd July 2003 08:22 AM

[Position]
; Buttons position - x,y
; Button size is the same as bitmap
BtnPrev=9,62
BtnPlay=34,62
BtnPause=59,62
BtnStop=84,62
BtnNext=109,62
BtnOpen=142,62
Btnbtn3=167,62:23;fullscreen
BtnExit=392,5

Is what i have in my ini file, however the button does not show up on the skin. I have btn3n.bmp btn3u.bmp btn3d.bmp which are copies of the open button. This dosent seem to do anything, the skin remains as it before i altered it.

By the by, is there any skining resource/documentation that could help me for skinning in general? I have no idea where to start looking.

JTHawK#2 2nd July 2003 08:57 AM

ONLY

Btn3=167,62:23;fullscreen

NOT

Btnbtn3=167,62:23;fullscreen

and u need

ExtrNum=X

X = Number of extra buttons = all buttons like Btn1, Btn2, ....

Deadmeat 2nd July 2003 01:25 PM

Cool. thanks for being patient with me.. but now we come to the crux fo the problem...

That still isint quite what im after :p If possible it would be neat if that button would also unpause the movie. I assume its not possible to bind two commands to one button?

JTHawK#2 2nd July 2003 04:15 PM

no sorry u cant bind more than one command to a button ... but maybe BST would allow this in future release .. so just request if u really want it :D
