Support for WinAmp OUTPUT plugins

Please support more plugins for WinAmp, not only the DSP ones. We need to use the OUTPUT winamp plugins, like the ASIO output plugin (alternative way to output the audio, less delay and supports multiple outputs)
that would be perfect
thanks in advice

there is an Output Stacker plugin, so you could run the audio to different sound cards (ie: listen to surround sound without a 5.1 or cuadrafonic sound card)

there are some other great output plugins, like diskwriters (you could easily save to wav/mp3 a part of the audio of a video or all the audio wht BSPlayer)

there is also a Kernel Streaming Output Plugin ("KS enables efficient real-time streaming for multimedia devices such as sound cards and TV tuner cards")

I've posted a similar request... but then I found this old post... a picture with a skeleton waiting comes to my mind

True, but I must say that this request sounds rather obscure for a normal player to me? :?:

so you're saying that those who use winamp with another output plugin, other than the default one, are not normal? :)

trodas 25th October 2005 10:09 PM

NO, I saing, that BSplayer is a tool to play videos, and not being used as plugin-enabled application for WinAMP plugins, if I got the request correctly

What do the plugin for movie playback anyway? :?: :!:

for one thing... dsp plugins are a very nice way to enhance the audio track of a movie
support for output plugins would give more options to the (more experienced) user

Maybe this can be done.

Please, please, make BSPlayer use Winamp output plugins!

The reason for me: there's a _free_ plugin capable of decoding Dolby Pro Logic II encoded surround information (www.andrewlabs.com). The only alternative is either WinDVD or PowerDVD directshow filter for which you obviously much pay.
