Custom pan scan in overlay? Is this possible? When using a clone mode in NVidia's control panel utils it's only possible to select one of four predefined options (Original pan, 16:9 or 4:3) - would it be possible to code the analog behavior of the custom pan scan as in the full screen mode in standard display - just this time the overlay surface would be always setup to 4:3 (which covers the full TC screen area) - this somehow resembles the zoom-in option. |

The option mentioned by wkt would be very nice! I have an nvidia card with TV-out too and always watch the movies on tv. As most movies are 16:9 I cut off the screen to 80% with divxG400 in order to have a watchable dimension. But I cannot do that with bsplayer, pan-scan only works on the monitor. I very like BsPlayer but cannot use in lot of cases because of that. Could you pls consider this new option? |
That would be very nice... pan-scan on the tv-out... |
First I stumbled in this one too but: divxg400 which does the job is at your service only in overlay mode2. so it works fine now. |
