hey again

Now there is an error saying "Error Decompressing video frame: 0" and the movie works fine on other video players except on Virtual Dub.

If you use XviD decompresor, please update it to 1.03 or 1.1

niranjit 30th January 2005 04:56 PM

wahh

how do you update it, and that's not the problem it's when i load it in to virtual dub and try to play it, it gives me that error

adicoto 30th January 2005 08:51 PM

I have seen many times this error on VirtualDub (I use it often) and my opinion is that is generated by an older XviD decoder used to decode a movie compressed with a newer XviD compresor.
Download one of the builds I have mentioned and install it.
To be sure, open one of this files with BSPlayer and see in options->filters what decoder is used to decompress the movie.

This is what it is saying when i click filter:

Default Direct Sound device
Cyberlink Audio decoder
DC_DSP Filter
Divx decoder filter

now what do i do[/list]

hey

One more thing i got a report error from virtual dub:

An integer division by zero occurred in module 'xvid'...
...while decompressing video frame 2 (VideoSource.cpp:1723)...
...while using input buffer at 0bd60000-0bd60b83 (VideoSource.cpp:1722)...
...while using output buffer at 026c0000-0279c003 (VideoSource.cpp:1721)...
...while running thread "Processing" (thread.cpp:150).

that's what it says whenever i try playing it

Did you updated XviD ?
From my link above.

Yeah i did, but just one question.
How do you save the xvid. I downloaded it and where do you save it.

adicoto 1st February 2005 09:37 PM

Go to koepi's site here

http://www.koepi.org/

and download the file XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe from there. Save it anywhere on your disk. It doesn't matter where, but don't forget where you save it. I use a folder named KITS. After that, double click on it to install XviD update. When asked about decoding all supported formats, uncheck the box. That's it.
