Remote Digital Sound
 

I have a laptop networked with a main PC connected with digital sound to an amplifier with digital decoder.
If I watch on the main PC using AC3filter I can passthru digital sound direct to the amplifier, getting full 5.1 sound.
I would like to do this through the network so I can watch my HDTV XVids on the laptop (in the ideal listening position) but pass the sound through the network to the digital output on the main PC.
There is a winamp plugin which allows remote sound but it just passes two channels (and in winamp the video runs at a very slow frame rate while it is running).
