per file volume control in playlist

Hi!

What I really would like to see is an option to adjust the sound volume for each file in a playlist.
I have a ton of musicvideo files, which I like to play on parties. Unfortunately the volume level of these files varies a lot. It would be of great help if one is able to adjust the volume of the files individually in the playlist. Though this adjustment requires some work, it would really improve the experience.

Thanks a lot for the player. It's the best one around.

For now you can try an DSP plug-in to do a sound normalization or use AC3Filter and do the normalization. You won't have same level of sound on all files, but it will be better and much faster than manual adjust for every file.

Thanks for the input!

I tried AC3Filter, but can't make it the default audio decoder for non-AC3-files.
Any help?

1. Blacklist other decoders.
2. On the last page of AC3Filter's main window IIRC there is an option about files to decode.
