Playing M2V and AC3 simultaneously

Hello

I have video files that are separate between video (m2v) and audio (ac3). When I open the m2v video file in BsPlayer PRO, only the video is visualized, without the audio.
I can load the sound separately with the command SHIF+L, however the video is unsychronized from the audio.
I would like to know how to carry the video and its audio file simultaneously, so that they play in a synchronized way.
BTW: the video and the audio share the same name and folder.

Thanks

Valter-Brazil

You can adjust audio delay using ctrl+shift+arrows.
You can mux the video and audio streams into a single file (VirtualdubMod can do that for example)

Hello, adicoto

Thanks for your reply.
I really don't want to join the video and audio streams into a single file. These files was already splitted during the rendering process in a non-linear editor, so mux them toghether doesn't make sense. The main objective to use BSPlayer is exactly to test the rendering results of the splitted files.
Is there a way that BSPlayer open the folder and begin to play both files automatic and simultaneously?

Thanks again

Valter

If applicable switch off auto-play:
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General > [General settings]
(second check-box)
Load video-file from open file button or rightclick > Open file
Load external audio-file ([Shift]/[L] or rightclick > Open external audio file)
Click Play-button (or shortkey [X]).
Result: videofile and audio will start together
[If needed you can finetune external audio's sync as indicated by adicoto provided the option "Enable audio time correction" is selected under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Audio (5th checkbox)].
P.S.: I think you can also do that using an ini-file (read in doc-folder within BS.Player's installation folder, but I didn't test it now.)

Hello BSPeter

Thanks for your reply.
Your solution, turning off auto-play, works well.
I didn't try the INI file solution, since the first one did the trick.
However, let me suggest for future release of BSPlayer an option to, when open the video file, automatically play an audio file thats contains the same filename as the video in the folder, à là Media Player Classic.

Another idea is the possibility to "drag and drop" a folder that contains both audio and video files directly into the player interface. An algorithm will analyse the contents and, if both files share the same filename, they will start together.

Thank you very much

Moved this thread to the appropriate forum for these suggestions, i.e. "Feature requests, feedback and suggestions"-forum.

Very good, but I can't find this beta in BSPlayer website to download and test.
Anyway, this is a good notice, and will greatly improve BSPlayer.
