trojan hidden in dll Anti-Trojan 5.5 has told me that the trojan backdoor.CobCat is the file /plugins/video/_vid)sample.dll - what gives? |
WinLIRC? could it be the dll that calls the WinLIRC functions? as far as i know it tries to connect to a (virtual?) port so it can be easily mistaken for a trojan..Go to preferences>general, disable WinLIRC ,run the prog with your firewall on and if you get no warnings about it then it's that.. If you run the prog with the WinLIRC option enabled ,most propably your firewall will allert you that bsplayer is trying to access the internet I've read about this in the forum before.. i just don't remember the article.. |
original posted by bst: It's not a virus or trojan. It's just a test video plugin (feature from v1.0) You can rename it to vid_sample.dll if you wan't to test it. It will only work in YUY2 color space and not with overlay ... |
