Aspect ratio problem
 

this started like 3 days ago.
when i go into a movie and try to change the aspect of the movie to 16:9 it changes for a second and goes right back to its original size.
now this happens in all movies also the movies i already saw on 16:9 i tried reinstalling bs player it doesnt help.
i also checked other media players and they do work properly so the problem is in bs player itself.

notice the grey lines where the movie should be? thats the proble, a movie should be there not the lines.
any suggestions?

Which version of BSPlayer do you use ? And Windows ? Reinstalling BSplayer doesn't do any good if settings file remain on your PC.
Do you see movies on a 16:10 monitor (or laptop) ?

well i use windows 7.
using the newest pro version of bs player 2.50
i watch the movies on a 22" monition not using a laptop.
how do i delete the setting file? maybe it will help but i doubt it.
it first started when i palyed a movie and accedently clicked a minimized game it closed bs player and the problem exsists since then.

That's why I asked about windows version. Config files should be in Users\yourusername\apps\roaming\bsplayer.
And also, be sure UAC it's disabled.

same i deleted the folder and than unistalled doesnt help at all =[

And UAC is disabled ?

and yes, Uac isnt working still the same problem.

Where you would normally download your new Pro versions: in your user area

well it did get fixed.
but another problem started: bs player crashes at the subtitle search and doesnt find the codecs i have installed and asks me to download them.
also after i download them it sometimes fails to open a movie by saying i dont have the right coder with is impossible.
any suggestions?

Installed codecs not found is a known issue with this beta. We'll have to wait for the next build I'm afraid.
