Overlay mixer for Windows 7

I read in several places that "Overlay Mixer" is the highest quality video setting for Bsplayer.

But if bsplayer is set to overlay mixer, everytime I launch a file, Windows Aero will be disabled and I see "color scheme switch to basic". Closing the file will re-activate aero agan.

This is really annoying behavior. Any suggestion on how to fix this?

AERO and OVERLAY will NOT work at the same time, as they are technically incompatible.

So you have to decide if you want Aero, OR if you want to use overlay.

If you want Aero, then you should select EVR renderer, which will be default video renderer in the future.
