HW BSplayer Autorun

Hello BS fans!! I post here to announce you the new version of BSplayer's autorun program (HW BSplayer Autorun) which is v1.210.
I had some problems and I couldn't be able to upload the .zip file in the net but it's ok now!
Please go to my homepage - http://www.geocities.com/HWautorun - download it (it's only 73k) and tell me your thoughts.
Thanks for your attention! :)

Hello again! New version in 2-3 days to come with the following features:
Choose the location of BSplayer's ini or bsi file! - This might help many people that have Bsplayer's ini or bsi files into their cds!
Bug fixes.
More to come...

To BScd:
I saw your launcher.. However, I prefer mine :D
I admit that it BSCD looks nicer but HW BSplayer Autorun has many great features that your launcher hasn't. I mean, you can only launch BSplayer, right?
I will say one more thing: Just wait a few weeks to see my updated prog..
Anyway, keep up working it because I really need some competition here!

I saw yours too... It has a nice features like codec check and stuff, but it should be more simple... Theres too much stuff in one window.

And there is one thing in codec check: How does it work in future?
The version I tested didn`t find DivX 5.0.3 of ffdshow which were intalled in my PC. Development of codecs makes that check feature unneeded. Thats why I think it`s better to leave codec installation to the user.

(BTW:codec installation buttons in my launcher are in other menus [=btn.ini], not in default menu. So if you want an installation button, you must replace the btn.ini of src folder with one from extra\btn folder)

:?: " ...you can only launch BSplayer, right? "
I´m not quite sure what you mean, but from "Start" button, the menu starts BSPlayer and makes it read bsplayer.bsi from CD root. The bsi is built to open an avi from "video" folder with all kinds of options...simple.

You keep on developing your system too... Hopefully your next one is better...

[ sorry for my bad english]

DragonFighter, you need to know that some translated strings will be longer then original (English)!

What do you mean by saying that? :?

bscd 26th May 2004 02:31 PM

I think what the man is tryin to say is that "Start movie" is a bit shorter than "Kaynnista elokuva" (finnish translation).
That's why the text might not fit in the specified place...

Yes, that's right!

bscd 28th May 2004 01:49 PM

Did you get my translation DragonFighter?

DragonFighter 28th May 2004 04:24 PM

@Bscd: Yes, I've downloaded. Thanks a lot! :D

@Vitalis: No problem! I'll pay a little more attention on that! :)

@Adicoto: I've only got the translation of HWlauncher. Did you send me the translation of HWmaker too? If you did, I didn't get it.

As HWmaker (+ launcher) become multilingual, I'm developing a new "language system" like BSplayer. I'll let you know when I am going to finish (a couple of days).

Please send me the translations in this e-mail as my current e-mail has some problems.
