cant find "filter" folder ??

hallo everybody,
i find following question and answer in the old forum:

-How can I configure it to play from my CD without installing any codec
on my PC?
-First: You need to add divxdec.ax, and divx.dll into the Filters folder of BSPlayer (you can find it at the Windows\System32 folder in a computer with DivX 4 or 5 installed).
Then, you must create a BSpFilters.dat, (just a text file, with dat ext), containing that:
AddFilter divxdec.ax,{78766964-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71},DivX Decoder
That's all! Now, you can burn it in a CD, and BSPlayer will play any DivX video even if the computer hasn't codecs installed.

my question is: ther is no "filer" folder in the bsplayer folder, can i create one and put the divxdec.ax and the divx.dll into it??

Yes, you can create a "Filters" folder at the BSPlayer folder, and copy "divxdec.ax" inside (really, you don't need the divx.dll, only divdec.ax).

Don't forget to add the filter using the file bsfilters.dat!
