TV card supply? Hi, Is it possible that BSplay will support video display of my TV-card someday? I ask because all the TV apps i've seen yet are just sooo crappy and on the other hand BSplay is by far the best movie player i came across... (OK maybe this is wishful thinking - so maybe anyone can recommend any good program that supports hauppauge WinTV? 8) ) thanks, joel |
But this is not an input card (video capture)? For displaying on tv you need a video card with tv-output. Bsplayer suports them because is a problem for drivers to display on tv or on PC display. |

I am sorry for not understanding in the beginning. You want bsplayer to became a tv station, am I right ? To play signal from your tv capture card. Like pixelview tv station or miro pc tv. I used the first and I like it. It's based on tv cards for bt 878 series. |
Hm, maybe some crazy guy will do a directshow filter for tv cards.. (though I dunno if that's possible ;)) Yet, I don't think watching tv with a movie player will be a staggering experience.. I'd recommend DScaler, it's doing a really great job; esp. if you watch tv in fullscreen mode, the deinterlace filters are great. cu Halle |
Dscaler is a good alternative, but if you also need to record from TV, i'd recommed you take a look at: IuVcr http://www.iulabs.com Awesome software for capturing video from tv-cards. FlyTv2000 http://infomicro.ca/Products/FlyTV2000.htm Also supports timeshifting, and teletext. If you capture video, i suggest you use codec 'PicVideo', probably the fastest codec in the world, IMHO. I have not had 1 dropped frame yet, while recording in 768x576x32bpp, 25fps, 48khz stereo. (ATI tv wonder, and 800mhz duron) http://www.pegasusimaging.com/picvideomjpeg.htm |
