API or myHTPC integration ?
 

Hi!

Is there some API to control BSPlayer ?
My idea is integrate BSPlayer with myHTPC
(www.myhtpc.net)
myHTPC is a front end (shell) that centralize the control over your Home Theater PC . Alhtough the video playback is using M$ WMP 9.x via plugin or allows you to launch external program , the best option (IMHO :)) would be integrating BSPlayer to myHTPC by developing bsplayer plugin for myHTPC.

(there is a source code for WMP plugin)
So, the missing part here is the API for BSPlayer .

I already use mythpc and bsplay as an external prog which is already nice ...

Two major problems now:
1. How can I change (set) window size ?
2. How can I get a notification from BSPlayer that the clip/movie is over ?
(if nothing helps : either polling every X (1 second) or setting the player to autoexit and restart it when needed , wich is costly )

Here's what I did:

for MyHTPC and a simple ini startup file for bsplayer specifying the movie, subtitles, automatic start, automatic full-screen and auto-exit on end

I am trying to make such a .ini file but cant seem to make it work. Where do you place the .ini file and could you please paste it into your reply
