about the first release

first of all i wanna wish good luck to this perfect product's developers.
the Q-s about the first release are:
- when
- what's new
- what's very new :)
- will conditions of use be changed
- will it remain free
- will it become open
/- any GNU thoughts/
- the Linux version?
